What is Magic 8 ball?
Magic 8 Ball — Ask the virtual Magic 8 Ball any yes-or-no question and get one of the 8 classic answers — affirmative, neutral, or negative. Free, no signup.
This virtual Magic 8 Ball uses the 8 classic responses from the open-source monicathomas8/magic8ball project (MIT), included verbatim — no answers are invented by this site. Each shake picks one response uniformly at random with Math.floor(Math.random() * 8), exactly like the vendored engine; a numeric seed switches the pick to a deterministic mulberry32 PRNG. Mood labels follow the classic 8-ball split (3 affirmative, 2 neutral, 3 negative) and are derived from the response wording. Limitations: the ball is a random picker for fun — it does not know the future, and open-ended questions still receive a yes/no-style answer. No AI is involved.
